Dream
Dream is an optional background job. It reviews possible relationships between memories and groups related memories into concepts. It requires an LLM configuration for the relationship review.
What happens during a run
Section titled “What happens during a run”The job reviews candidate pairs and classifies them as support, supersession, or contradiction. Support and contradiction edges stay pending for review. A confident supersession is confirmed and marks the older memory as superseded.
The job also clusters memories into concepts. It keeps a derived memory only when at least one declared source still exists, and it records those sources as pending support relationships.
Run dream
Section titled “Run dream”dimple dream minilmThe CLI waits for the job to finish. In the SDK, call await dimple.dream("minilm"). Dream is optional: without its LLM configuration, stored memories and ordinary retrieval continue to work.
See Concepts for how a query can filter by a cluster.
